Everyone has the right to request that a digital website, mobile application, or some element thereof be made accessible. You may also request that the information be made available through an alternative means of access, for example, by reading a digitally inaccessible document, describing the content of a film without an audioclip, etc. The request should include the details of the person making the request, an indication of which website or mobile application is being requested and a means of contact. If the requesting person indicates a need to receive the information through an alternative means of access, they should also specify a convenient way of presenting the information. The public entity should comply with the request immediately, no later than within 7 days of the request. If it is not possible to meet this deadline, the public entity shall immediately inform the requesting party when the fulfillment of the request will be possible, but this deadline shall not be longer than 2 months from the date of the request. If digital accessibility cannot be provided, the public body may propose an alternative means of accessing the information. If a public entity refuses to comply with a request for accessibility or an alternative way of accessing the information, the requesting party may file a complaint about the digital accessibility of the website, mobile application or element of the website or mobile application. After exhausting the procedure indicated above, a request may also be submitted to the Ombudsman.

Opis: There are disabled parking spaces near the entrance of the facility.

Main entrance to the building:

has a staircase equipped with handrails,
at the same time you can get to it from the so-called zero level (entrance B),
it has no automatic opening doors.

Inside to bulding:

there are stairs equipped with handrails on both sides,
there are elevators that serve all levels and parts of the facility,
the elevators are not equipped with voice announcements and Braille buttons,
there is 1 handicap accessible restroom located at Entrance B of the building-an entrance for people with disabilities.

The information system for people with sensory disabilities includes screens displaying information relevant to UAM students and staff in the halls of the department. Plaques with Braille and QR codes by the halls will be placed over a two-year period due to the very large scope of work.

You can enter the facility with an assistance dog without any restrictions (based on the Law on Vocational and Social Rehabilitation and Employment of Persons with Disabilities).
