Prof. Albert Fert awarded honorary doctorate by AMU
On June 6, AMU rector Prof. Bogumiła Kaniewska presented an honorary doctorate degree from the Adam Mickiewicz University to Prof. Albert Fert, a physicist and winner of the 2007 Nobel Prize. The ceremony took place at the Polish Library in Paris.

Prof. Michał Kurzyński (1946-2023)
With deep regret and profound sadness, we announce that Prof. dr hab. Michał Kurzyński passed away on May 24. Funeral ceremonies will be held on Wednesday, June 7 at 12:30 pm at the Junikowo Municipal Cemetery.
