Twenty years ago, we released our inaugural article on quantum walks, a collaborative effort with our colleagues from the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science. Since that achievement, our dedication to research in this domain has endured. In this commemorative talk, we will showcase two exemplary outcomes of our ongoing investigations – specifically, our findings about quantum walks in artificial gauge fields and the topological effects observed in quantum walks.
