Nonlinear phenomena abound in the vicinity of spin wave dipole gaps. These were previously documented as fingers of auto-oscillation. Recently, we began experimenting with spin wave active ring oscillators (SWAROs). We will discuss how SWAROs can show a rich variety of nonlinear interactions, from broad oscillation spectrum to narrow peaks and frequency pulling. We then describe recent experiments that detail our progress towards reservoir computing.
