A part of my work devoted to magnonic crystals (MCs) will be shown, mostly focused on tailoring the band gaps. Three types of MCs will be examined: 3D [1] and 2D bicomponent MCs [2], and 2D anti-dot lattices [3]. In all three cases, some mechanisms responsible for opening and tuning gaps will be studied.
