ISQI joins IBM Quantum Network

AMU joins the first Polish node of IBM Quantum Network Hub. The relevant agreement was signed on December 5, 2022,  and AMU, as the first university in Poland gained access to the most advanced quantum computers.  Prof. Karol Bartkiewicz (Department of Nonlinear Optics, ISQI) will coordinate the project at AMU. Thanks to access to IBM’s quantum computers, his team has already performed experiments with generative models of quantum states and simulated dynamics of open quantum systems. They plan to test and develop quantum algorithms, applicable in many fields of science and technology
